Carrier has decided to choose the "Puron Advance" r454b as their replacement refrigerant.
Some industry professionals say it's best to stick with large refrigerant manufactures in order to make necessary changes to their equipment over the next decade. r454B is brand new to the market and a mixture of multiple refrigerants. So why is Carrier deciding to take a left when other are taking a right?
